The Lions Club Eyeglass Collection Box

Do you have a pair or pairs of eyeglasses that you no longer need or wear and don't know what to do with them? Please donate them to The Lions Club Eyeglass Collection Box located at the end of Irwin Eye Care Office sidewalk. 

Refractive errors can be easily corrected with eyeglasses, yet millions living in low and middle income countries lack access to basic eye care services. Lions have recognized the urgent need for corrective lenses and collect usable glasses in their communities to support the Lions Recycle For Sight Program. Since 1925, Lions International has been a champion in helping combat vision impairment and blindness. With this same conviction, Lions have also been a force in providing medical care and education to help prevent hearing loss. The best way for an individual to receive eyeglasses or hearing aids assistance from Lions International is to get in contact with a local Lions club or a district in your area. Local Lions clubs are comprised of a group of volunteers who implement projects and programs in their communities, and at times provide direct assistance to individuals.
